Waffles remind me of snowflakes. There is no one that looks the same. Unless it is Waffle House, then yes they are yummy and all look the same. But I love playing with my pancake and waffle recipes. Here is what I did this morning, bored in the house.
Sour Cream Waffles
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter melted
1 cup milk
1/2 cup sour cream
3 large eggs
Heat a waffle iron. Lightly oil the grids. Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl to combine. Whisk the melted butter, milk, sour cream, and eggs in a medium bowl until combined and pour into the dry ingredients. Mix but not too much 😉 From what I have seen on every cooking show ever is DO NOT OVER MIX YOUR BATTER! 😉
You know how to use a waffle iron. Spray it down after each waffle for easy clean up!
