Last week we ate a lot of leftovers and Chinese food. https://funfoodiefamily.com/2013/08/22/chinese-take-out/
This week, I am going to do my best to make a few more recipes.
Sat. T-bone steak, baked potatoes, veggie
Sunday- Girl’s night! When the husband’s away, us girls will play! Hubby has a late night, so I will let the girls pick dinner…can be waffles, Chinese food, pizza, Zaxby’s; who knows!
Monday- Taco Spaghetti I found on Pinterest http://www.sohowsittaste.com/2013/04/taco-spaghetti.html
Tuesday- My parents are coming over to take care of the girls. My husband and I both have class, so probably something quick on the road or something late thrown together.
Wednesday- Ballet, gymnastics, Taekwondo. Busy night, for sure. Hamburgers are always fast and easy! We were supposed to have them a couple of weeks ago, but never got around to them. Not sure why…that is the thing with planning. Even if you get home, get busy, and decide to go to Schlotzsky’s drive through, you already have a meal for next week in the freezer!
Thursday- Chicken, Farro, and a veggie
Friday- Date Night!
Hope you have a great food week!
I just want you to know that your weekly postings of your meal plans has inspired me. I have started trying to do this each week to help maintain my sanity and so that I don’t have to take so many trips to the grocery store! This is what our week will look like:
Sunday – tuna steaks, wild rice, kale & popovers (I have been promising them for 2 weeks!)
Monday – crockpot baked chicken, potatoes, carrots
Tuesday – Indian Butter chicken, brown rice, naan (all frozen leftovers)
Wednesday – Curried chicken tetrazzini (using chicken from Monday)
Thursday – Girls night with the MES peeps!
Friday – Sausage Gumbo (Italian sausage, Kroger’s gumbo mix frozen veggies, diced tomatoes with jalapenos & black-eyed peas)
Thanks for the inspiration – I really enjoy your blog 😉
